Stop me if you heard this before, the Philadelphia Sixers will lose a starter in their lineup due to injury. Josh Richardson left the game in the second quarter against the Los Angeles Clippers after colliding into Alec Burks.

He stayed on the baseline for a couple minutes before going back to the locker room. He has been ruled out for the remainder of the game with a nose contusion.

Add him to the injury list with Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid. Hopefully it is nothing too serious or too long term. Maybe it's possible he can play a face mask in the near future.

Richardson averages 14 points per game, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.2 assists. He is a reliable ball handler for Brett Brown during this stretch without Simmons in the lineup. To be fair, he is reliable when Simmons is in the lineup as well.

Adversity is an understatement when it comes to the Sixers' injury problems right now.
