While the Sixers will not have Joel Embiid on Monday night, for the first time this season, it appears that Sixers forward Paul George could be available when Philadelphia hosts his former team, the Los Angeles Clippers, on Monday night.

Paul George Nearing First Action of the Season

Also appearing on the injury report, and expected to miss some time, are reserve center Adem Bona, who is dealing with a right ankle sprain, and swingman Kelly Oubre Jr., who has a LCL (lateral collateral ligament) injury.

How Philadelphia Adjusts Without Embiid

With Embiid and Bona out, the team has recalled rookie Johni Broome from the Delaware Blue Coats. Expect Andre Drummond to get the start, with Broome potentially getting some center minutes.

George has yet to suit up for the Sixers this season as he recovers from a left knee injury, but he would be a big lift to the Sixers' lineup with Oubre out of the lineup.

Bona has provided excellent rim protection in Embiid's absence, blocking almost two shots per game, while altering plenty of others.
