[PHOTO] A Look at Joel Embiid’s Face Mask

Embiid underwent surgery on back on March 31 to repair orbital fracture, and was expected to miss anywhere from 2-to-4 weeks.  He was recently cleared by an independent neurologist to begin non-contact cardio exercise.

He's missed the last eight games — with the Sixers going 8-0 in his absence.

They close the regular season out Wednesday night against the Milwaukee Bucks, with a win they would earn the No. 3 seed in the eastern conference.

The NBA Playoffs begin on Saturday.
