The NBA trade talk is starting to heat up with Wednesday a key day in the trade season.

That date is the day that the pool of players that could be traded gets deeper. Any player who signed this offseason with a new team can be traded, meaning 84% of all players in the league could be move.

Currently only 65% of players can actually be traded.

But the one name locally to keep an eye on is Ben Simmons, who might be the hottest name on the NBA trade market this season, per Shams Charania of The Athletic

Conversations are certainly heating up across the NBA, with Philadelphia’s three-time All-Star Ben Simmons the hottest name on the trade market.

According to Charania, a fresh pool of teams has entered the mix for Simmons' services and the team is trying to find multi-team options to move the three-time all-star.

Charania lists seven teams have been listed as interested in Simmons:

New York Knicks
Los Angeles Lakers
Minnesota Timberwolves
Portland Trail Blazers
Sacramento Kings
Indiana Pacers
Cleveland Cavaliers

Reports have stated that Sixers team President Daryl Morey continues to ask teams for an All-Star-caliber player in any deal involving Simmons.

The teams above have a few players that have been mentioned as available, with Kevin Knox of the Knicks, Damonta Sabonis and Caris LeVert of the Pacers being mentioned.

The most likely scenario is that there is a three-team deal that involves a player or two and first-round picks for Simmons and maybe another player from the Sixers roster.
