Backup Gardner Minshew is expected to start Saturday in Dallas.

As for Hurts, it appears he suffered a sprained shoulder late in the third quarter one a run where he was tackled by Bears defensive end Trevis Gipson.

Schefter reported that that Hurts' agent, Nicole Lynn, said he is not expected to be out long-term. It has been reported that it is his right shoulder, which is his throwing arm.

The line on this game went from Dall -1.5 to -6  and Hurts MVP odds went from the betting favorite to +200 to win the award.
