Report: Sixers Interested in Kentavious Caldwell-Pope

With the Sixers reported to be looking to add some shooting depth to their roster after dealing Robert Covington and Dario Saric to Minnesota, some names have continued to surface.

Kyle Korver, a trio of Washington Wizards, and Carmelo Anthony are some of the names that have been connect to Philadelphia, who appears to be looking for shooting.

According to NBA writer Kevin O'Connor The Ringer NBA Show, the newest name the team has reportedly expressed interest in is Lakers guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

"I’ve since heard that Kentavious Caldwell-Pope on the Lakers is a guy that they could have eyes for."

Caldwell-Pope is a streaky shooter and good defender in the Covington mold that would be an interesting fit for the Sixers coming off the bench.  He seems to have fallen out of favor in a crowded LA back-court, averaging just 6.9 points per game and shooting just 32.6 from three-point range in 18.5 minutes per game.

He is in the final year of his deal, which would allow the Sixers to clear his contract at the end of the year.
