The Philadelphia Eagles may be 1-1 to begin the 2019 season, but their secondary hasn’t played the way we thought it might play with the return of Ronald Darby, and maturity of guys like Avonte Maddox, Sidney Jones and Rasul Douglas.

So with Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey having requested a trade, bringing him to the Philadelphia seems like a natural fit – right?

Absolutely.

"When a player like this becomes available, you do your homework and go out and get him if you can," NFL Insider Adam Caplan from SirusXM NFL Radio told The Sports Bash on Tuesday. "This kid, you find a way to make it work, and they wouldn't have to restructure him."

Caplan did explain that Ramsey prefers to play in a man-to-man defensive system, which is not what the Eagles typically play, but noted that "he is so unbelievably talented, and so long, and rarely gives up big plays - he is a true No. 1 cornerback."

“I would absolutely give up two first round picks for this player," Caplan continued on The Sports Bash.  "You could argue that he is the NFL's best cornerback
