The Philadelphia 76ers picked up the 2018-19 option on point guard T.J. McConnell's contract, the team announced Friday.

McConnell will earn just $1.6 million next season.

McConnell will be entering his fourth season with the Sixers, averaged 6.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.2 steals in 22.4 minutes in 2017-18.

He started the final two games of their playoff series vs. Boston, helping the Sixers win their lone game in the series with 19 points on 9-of-12 shooting, seven rebounds and five assists in 39 minutes.
