The Philadelphia Flyers beat the Boston Bruins in a shootout! They snagged four points in a back to back road trip, in Toronto and in Boston. This is VERY impressive! Carter Hart came up so big down the stretch. He saved David Pastrnak on a penalty shot and also made three huge saves at the end of the third period as the Bruins had a powerplay. The Flyers actually had a 2-0 lead after the first period as Travis Konecny netted the first goal and Phil Myers continued his hot stretch by scoring the second. Konecny assisted Myers goal and Sean Couturier recorded assists on both. In the third, Boston had a wave of momentum that resulted in two goals to tie the scoring. The game could not be finished in overtime so after Joel Farabee scored a disgusting shootout goal, Carter Hart did what he needed on his end, including closing the door on David Pastrnak again.
