The Philadelphia Sixers took down the Boston Celtics in the first game of the season. The offense wasn't pretty as the 76ers missed a bunch of shots, but their defensive intensity was clearly an issue for the Celtics. Kemba Walker couldn't find anything as he shot 4-18 from the field. This is the same Kemba Walker who went off scoring 60 points on the Sixers last season. Ben Simmons was unbelievable recording 24 points, nine assists, and eight rebounds. Joel Embiid recorded a double double and all of the starting five for Philadelphia scored double digit points. It was a definitely an impressive win and something to build off of!
