Soon to be 75 years old, Bruce Springsteen is an iconic musician who only has so many live performances left. This is a big reason why tickets to see "The Boss" in concert sold for big money on the resale market websites before Wednesday, August 21st.

The Springsteen and E-Street Band 2024 World Tour is in the midst of a 48-show schedule this year. This tour has taken "The Boss" and his band to countries such as Spain, Ireland, Germany, Sweden, and The Netherlands.

But just because Bruce Springsteen is a beloved musician and has performed for millions of people over the years, doesn't mean he is immune from passionate sports fans hijacking his show.

"The Boss" Hears Boos In Philadelphia

The first of two performances at Citizens Bank Park by Bruce Springsteen was what you would expect from a concert at Citizens Bank Park. The hottest ticket of the summer allowed fans of the 74-year-old entertainment icon to hear "The Boss" perform all of his hits.

But it was during Springsteen's performance of the song "Wrecking Ball" that the crowd changed from cheers to "Boos". This is because the song tells the story of Bruce's favorite team, the New York Giants, tearing down their old stadium.

Springsteen, one of the most famous people to ever come from New Jersey, is a lifelong Giants fan. "The Boss" grew up and lived most of his life in Giants County, in the Central and Northern areas of New Jersey.

But Philadelphia is the heart of Eagles Country, one of the oldest rivals of the New York Giants. So Springsteen heard the boos when he mentioned the Giants and their old stadium, The Meadowlands.

"The Boss" handled it playfully when he stopped singing and questioningly replied "Eagles?" to the crowd gathered at Citizens Bank Park.  Springsteen faced a similar reaction to his performance of Wrecking Ball 12 years ago during a concert in Boston. New England Patriots fans were not thrilled to hear Springsteen singing about the football team that beat them twice in the Super Bowl.

Bruce Springsteen has sold over 140 million records worldwide. The New Jersey native has a prolific discography and our music experts decided to rank all of The Boss' albums. Do you agree with this list?
