On Monday, the Philadelphia Eagles placed two players on Injured Reserve and now have two roster spots to fill ahead of their matchup with the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football

With the reports coming out earlier on Monday that DeSean Jackson be out the next 6-8 weeks, this roster move is not surprising as the team has the luxury of other players potentially coming back from injury soon.

Also on Monday, the Eagles Activated Four Players from the Short Term Injured Reserve, allowing them to begin practicing before bringing them back to the 53-man roster.  With Jackson being placed on IR, the return of Jalen Reagor to practice this week seems to be a direct correlation since Reagor can be used in the Eagles Offense in the same roles as they would use DJax.

Hassan Ridgeway being placed on IR would highlight the need for the second roster spot to be filled by a defensive player ahead of Sunday Night's matchup with the Cowboys.  Keep an eye out for either Linebacker TJ Edwards or safety Rudy Ford to be brought back to the 53-man roster by the end of the week.
