During the Philadelphia Eagles' win in New Orleans in NFL Week Three, they had to persevere through losing five important players to injuries.

Both Right Tackle Lane Johnson and Wide Receiver Devonta Smith left Sunday's game after sustaining concussions. Starting Right Guard Mekhi Becton sustained a Hand Injury and Cornerback Darius Slay was run out of bounds by a Saints player that injured the veteran Defensive Back.

But with no AJ Brown the last two games and the prospect of Devonta Smith potentially unavailable this Sunday, the Eagles will be even more shorthanded at Wide Receiver starting this Sunday when they travel to Tampa.

Latest Eagles Roster Moves In Response Injury Situation

A day after reports surfaced that Britain Covey suffered a broken bone in his Shoulder, the Eagles have played the 27-year-old Wide Receiver on Injured Reserve. The expectation is that Covey will miss at least six weeks with this Shoulder Injury sustained in New Orleans.

In response to Covey landing on IR, the Eagles have signed Veteran Wide Receiver John Ross to the Practice Squad and signed Tight End Jack Stoll to the active roster.

Since being drafted 9th overall in the 2017 NFL Draft, John Ross has only appeared in ten games or more two seasons in the last seven years. The speedy Veteran Receiver was apart of Eagles Training Camp and is familiar with Offensive Coordinator Kellen Moore's Offense.

Before Sunday's game in New Orleans, the Eagles promoted Veteran Wide Receiver Paris Campbell from the Practice Squad because the team had ruled AJ Brown out for the game. If both Brown and Smith miss this weekend's game in Tampa, we could see Campbell and/or Ross elevated from the Practice Squad to be available for the game.

The signing of Jack Stoll to the Active Roster gives the Eagles tangible depth at the Tight End Position. Stoll has taken snaps as a Backup Tight End on offense this season along with a Special Teams Contributor.

Stoll has appeared in 51 games over the last four seasons for the Eagles. He served as a Backup Tight End over the years and filled in as a starter when Dallas Goedert has missed games due to injuries.

This Sunday will be the second straight road game for the Philadelphia Eagles and they will not have another home game until October 13th.  If you are looking for a spot to watch the games with fellow Eagles fans while the team is on the road, here are some of the best recommendations we have in South Jersey:
