Jordan Howard is signing with the Saints as a member of the practice squad.

Howard entered the NFL in 2016 as a fifth-round pick of the Chicago Bears. In seven seasons in Howard has been a solid NFL running back, rushing for over 1,000 yards two times, scoring 37 career touchdowns.

Howard joined Philadelphia in 2019, joined Miami for five games in 2020 and was back in Philly for two games in 2020 and played seven games in 2021. Overall in 19 career games in Philly, where he ran for 958 yards and nine scores with the Eagles.

Right now, the Saints have two running backs on the 53-man roster in Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram, losing Latavius Murray to the Broncos active roster last week and Tony Jones to waivers.
