Everyone loves a mock draft and with the Eagles potentially having three first-round picks this season, mock draft are going to be even more fun this year!

So what will happen in the 2022 NFL Draft? ESPN new draft analyst Jordan Reid released his very first mock draft released on Wednesday, tried to predict different teams’ 2022 selections, which is complicated by the fact that its not even Thanksgiving yet, but also by the fact that there are still more college games to be played.

In this mock draft, the Eagles have three picks, No. 6 (from Miami), No. 11 and No. 15 (from Indianapolis).

So lets check out who they might have their eyes on with these three picks.

Reid, a former college football quarterback and coach, has the Eagles picking Notre Dame safety Kyle Hamilton with the pick they got from Miami.

The last time the Eagles drafted a defensive back in Round 1? It was 2002, when they took cornerback Lito Sheppard at No. 26. They've also never drafted a safety in the first round. They could break that streak with the 6-foot-4, 220-pound Hamilton, a do-it-all player who had three interceptions before suffering a knee injury last month. Hamilton would be a huge boost to a Philadelphia secondary that is allowing quarterbacks to complete 74% of their passes this season, which ranks last in the league.

This is a bold prediction, considering, as mentioned by Reid, the Eagles haven't drafted a defensive back in the first-round since 2002. While it makes a ton of sense, it still might be a bit of a surprise if the Eagles take a safety this high, but Hamilton is well worth it.

With their own pick, No. 11 overall, Reid has the Eagles sticking with defense, taking Florida cornerback Kaiir Elam.

After taking safety Kyle Hamilton with their first Round 1 pick, the Eagles could continue to remake their secondary here. Thanks to extra picks from the Dolphins and 49ers, they have a chance to take the top safety and corner in this class. Elam, who has six career interceptions, would give Philadelphia an option to pair alongside Darius Slay in 2022.

With Steve Nelson on a one-year deal, adding a younger corner makes a ton of sense here and Elam is considered by some to be a Top 10 player in the draft.

Finally, Reid has the Eagles going offensive line with the pick they get from the Colts, which is basked on Carson Wentz's playing time.

This time they have the Eagles taking Iowa interior lineman Tyler Linderbaum with pick No. 15.

With one more first-round pick in this draft -- this selection is based on Carson Wentz playing 75% of the Colts' offensive snaps, and he's at 99.3% -- the Eagles could fortify the offensive line. Linderbaum could be the heir apparent to oft-injured guard Brandon Brooks or veteran center Jason Kelce. They used a second-round pick in April on Landon Dickerson, who also has experience at center, but they still need a young influx of depth in the interior offensive line.

I'm not a big fan of this pick, not the player, but the need.  I think the Eagles need to go with another defensive player here or add another play-maker on the offensive side of the ball.

Guys that were available in this spot in Reid's mock draft that I would take here include: CB's Ahmad Gardner of Cincinnati and Andrew Booth Jr. from Clemson, WR' Garrett Wilson of Ohio State, Jahan Dotson from Penn State.  DT Jordan Davis from Georgia, LB Devin Lloyd from Utah to name a few.
