Newly acquired Philadelphia 76ers guard James Harden will not make his debut with the team until after the NBA All-Star break this coming weekend.

That puts him out for Tuesday's game against Boston and Thursday's tilt with Milwaukee and will not play in Sunday's All-Star game. Philadelphia will return to action Friday, Feb. 25, on the road against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Harden missed the past six games and hasn’t appeared since Feb. 2 against the Sacramento Kings.

He did make his debut on the floor at the Sixers practice facility in Camden, and will meet the media for the first time on Tuesday.

The 32-year-old acquired from the Brooklyn Nets via a trade at the trade deadline is averaging 22.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 10.2 assists per game. Harden has played 44 games and is shooting 41% overall and a career-low 33.2% from three-point range.

Meanwhile Paul Millsap, who was acquired in the deal, appears to be ready to make his Sixers debut against Boston.  It will be interesting to see if he gets the first reserve minutes behind Joel Embiid that Paul Reed has played the past twp games.

Millsap has played in just 24 games this season for the Nets, playing 11.2 minutes, scoring 3.4 points and 3.7 rebounds.  The 37-year-old is a four-time All-Star, but hasn't played in a game since Jan 13.

Sixers coach Doc Rivers indicated that the team would use him at the 5 spot, so we'll see if he gets the backup center minutes or will they go to Reed.
