I feel bad for Giants rookie running back Cam Skattebo, who was carted off the field in the second quarter with a serious ankle injury. I’ve been following him since his Arizona State days – my son Kyle is a 2007 ASU grad.

1. Eagles running back Saquon Barkley (150 rushing yards, 2 total TDs).
2. Quarterback Jalen Hurts (4 passing TDs).
3. Eagles running back Tank Bigsby (104 rushing yards).

Eagles’ best play

Barkley turned in his best play of the season when he broke loose for a 65-yard touchdown on the Eagles’ second play from scrimmage.

Eagles’ worst play

Barkley limped off the field in the fourth quarter with a reported groin injury.

Turning point

The game was tied 7-7 and the Eagles faced a 4^th-and-2 from the Giants’ 11-yard line. The Giants appeared to knock the ball loose when Hurts was reaching for extra yardage on a “Tush Push,” but officials ruled the play had ended. The Eagles scored two plays later on Hurts’ 9-yard pass to Barkley.

Barkley (150) and Bigsby (104) became the first pair of Eagles running backs to surpass 100 yards in the same game since LeSean McCoy (133) and Bryce Brown (115) did it against the Bears on December 22, 2013.....Eagles wide receiver Jahan Dotson made a spectacular catch for a 40-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, snatching the football away from Giants cornerback Korie Black.… Eagles place-kicker Jake Elliott hit the upright on a 58-yard field goal attempt.
