In the aftermath of Ben Simmons being kicked out of Tuesday's Practice by Sixers Head Coach Doc Rivers and the subsequent Joel Embiid comments about the situation, everyone has been letting their opinions fly about Simmons and the 76ers.  Now the creative team at Bleacher Report got in with this video making an analogy between what happened with Ben Simmons on Tuesday and the famous scene from the movie "Coach Carter" when star player Timo Cruz gets thrown out of practice:

The movie "Coach Carter" is based on the true story of Ken Carter transforming the Basketball culture at Richmond High School back in 1999; Coach Carter is played in the movie by the legend Samuel L. Jackson and Timo Cruz is played by Rick Gonzalez (famous for shows like Boston Public, Reaper, and Arrow).  If you have seen the movie, this Bleacher Report video is even funnier because the character of Timo Cruz is a major pain for Ken Carter in the movie and there's a part of me that wished Doc Rivers was more like Ken Carter in real life.

"Coach Carter" is definitely an underrated sports movie and has an interesting cast that includes Channing Tatum and Ashanti.  If you haven't seen the movie, you should check it out soon and then answer this question: Should the Sixers could hire Ken Carter as a consultant?  You can see the original scene from the movie here.
